Good morning! My status changed today to Decision Made! Finally, after waiting for 1.5 months from my exam and interview. Hopefully the next update will be for my oath taking.

Congratulations, updated the sheet

Invitation for test arrives via MAIL or E-MAIL?
Does e-cas gets updated when someone is invited for the test?

I raised this concern as there have been 3-4 incidents since January when the postman in my area has put the letter in the incorrect letterbox (Community Letter Boxes). I hope that this doesn't happen with the letter from CIC :)

Hello

I was a homemaker in year 2016, please can anyone tell me what address to write in question 11 under "where were you physically located'. As I was not working so should I put my home address there? Please can anyone answer. Much appreciated.

Thanks

I got my oath invitation today. I applied for me and my daughter as minor, and I received 2 emails to appear for both of us. Should minor appear at the oath ceremony? She is 3 years old. On the attached document in the email there is:

"IMPORTANT – PLEASE NOTE
A person aged fourteen (14) or older who is granted Canadian citizenship must take the Oath of Citizenship to
become a Canadian citizen. Children under 14 years of age are welcome but not required to attend. Parents and
their children, however, may be asked to leave the ceremony room or move to another area if their children disrupt
the ceremony. If you bring young children, plan to have a family member or friend available to take them out of the
room for you if they get restless. Remember that you will need to stay in the room for the full length of the
ceremony. If you cannot make suitable arrangements for child care, your ceremony can be rescheduled for a later
date."

My understanding was that I am the only one that needs to attend. But I received email for her also, so do I just print her "notice to appear" document? Is it normal for minor under 14years to get the invitation email?

That’s what I did. I put homemaker and my address.

I worked from Nov 2016 till current. However from Jan 2017-Aug 2018 I did an online course from sheridan as well while working. I am confused how to put the dates in question 11.

Thanks for the reply but there is one more question as i had three addresses during that time, so should I put all my three addresses there?
This is how I completed my form. I was a homemaker from 2012-13 at first address. So entered that. Then from 2013-17we moved to different address. So I put homemaker with second address for that period. As long as all your period during eligibility is accounted for and accurate, you should be fine.
