I'm kinda curious why people want this info? I mean, unless you're media and are looking for one to use for a report, I don't know how this information is useful.

Likely it gives them an idea of when the next ceremonies will be held and perhaps (even if falsely) gives them hope they will be on the list for an invite? I know that is what I would be interested in, if it were me.

I don't think media will be interested more than those waiting for an oath ceremony IMO.

Perfectly said!

True,
Also some are trying to make sense of the information - for example: # of ceremonies planned for this month vs past month(s) for example (for those who check frequently) - kind of helps understand if things will likely move faster or slower in the coming period...

I was originally offered an oath date of March 14th immediately after passing the test but asked to re-schedule due to existing travel arrangements. Today logging in I see an update that a notice has been sent with the oath date of April 5th. Please update the sheet.
Updated. Congrats!!

Hi
Can you see it in your ECAS. I am too from Calgary cleared test on 14 but no update since then
What do you mean? Didnt you say DM on 16th? Then what do you mean by no update?

Hi

Is anyone here who have reschedule their Oath in Calgary office. And when they reschedule it, they will immediately give you the next date or you have to wait again to get the date.

Regarding Oath date. Just wanted to know does ECAS show Oath date too?
Yes. It will be updated when a date is assigned to you. There are still people from Calgary with DM and without oath invitation

Yes.. I got to know from there only after that we received physical letter. When you click on "decision made" on the next page last line mention your oath date if its already decided.
Does Calgary office usually send email or physical mail for oath invitation?

Hi, is anyone familiar with the background check/security clearance process?

I submitted my citizenship file on Oct 16, 2017, and I passed my test on Feb 14, 2018. I also had a seemingly very good/successful interview. However, in the last 30 seconds of the interview, the officer told me that my oath will be pending a "clearance" that could take "several months".

My search online indicates that historically, mostly clearances start upon application processing (November 14, 2017 in my case), and are completed within than 100 days. It's now been 120+ days since my clearance was supposedly started, and I'm beginning to worry.

I deeply appreciate the importance of these steps for the integrity of the citizenship process and safety of Canadians, but the lack of information on progress to the applicant can be nerve wracking. Any tips/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, did you get your oath yet?

How long it takes to get gcms notes??? I submitted my request on February 15 and have not received as of today.
Seniors please.
@citizenship2017 - I just received my GCMS Notes around 2 PM PST today. I also requested it on Feb 15th.
