Create this as new account but my user name should be there AHA , am Toronto applicant. Today, I am super excited, I am one more step closer to end this journey finally, got my Test Invitation for April 04, 2018. I have been following lots of other applicants with their timelines and some of them even got their oat and it was stressing me out each time as I was on IP since Nov 28, 17, I was like crazy checking everyday my status online, anyways, I have a question, I got email for test today March 16 but my status shows that it was sent on March 12??? ;-) I don’t .. anyone has the same kinda experience.. hope for everyone and all the best
Did you receive test invite from Scarborough visa office?

Please, I need your input:
I got the confirmation letter for the fingerprints results from the RCMP and the company, to which the police officer sent the fingerprint, sent the results to Vancouver citizenship office (mentioned in the FP request). I have the fax and address of the local office in Saskatoon. The RCMP in Ottawa told me that it will be mailed either out today or on Monday to the immigration office in Vancouver.
My question is that: should I send them the confirmation letter I received from the RCMP to my local office by fax or mail as it might take that office 10-14 business days to send it to my local office? Just to process my application which is there already in my local office as it has been mentioned in the FP letter. Or wait till the office in Vancouver sends it to my local office?
I am asking just to save time.
Thanks for your input.

You were lucky you were not asked about your day trips not in your declared travel list. I missed to declare a day trip I made to the US back in 2013. I was asked about this trip for a good 5 minutes, she noted my answers and she said she will verify. How could she verify my quick trip to Walmart in Belingham? Lol. She already has a list of my records from CBSA during the interview. Other questions asked were: How much am I earning annually and what I do for a living.

I mostly agree with this advice except I wouldn't say anything about it unless asked. I'm sure I missed a day trip or two into the US and nothing was said at any point in the process. Why draw attention to it unnecessarily?

You could request the entry/exit reports from US and Canadian border services to see if it's even noted. If it's not (which wouldn't be surprising), it's not something that would be known.

I stand corrected.

My good people ... I need advise ... what happens if I forget a one day trip to US in my application?
I actually never went into the US, I flag poled. Does that even count?
Can I and should I contact IRCC to update?
I did flagpole twice. I didn't mention it and nobody cared. I have DM. Waiting for Oath Ceremony.

Anyone know how quick is the Vancouver office with processing? My files been in processing since Feb 1st with no further communication. Maybe this is normal, but just wanted to confirm.

Is there a testing/processing office in Toronto or is it possible that some/most/all of the Toronto-listed applicants are tested/processed in Scarborough or Mississauga?

any kingston, ontario applicant here that has had his/her test done? just wanted to know where the test will be held.

Hi fiends :)
I passed my citizenship test about 2 month ago! my interview took 4 minutes and the officer told me everything looks great in your file ... But after 2 months, I still haven't received any news (DM/oath letter, etc). I know that they say it takes 3-5 month but looking at the spreadsheet, many people who took the exam way after me have already gone through the next step/steps. I wonder what makes some cases pass through quickly while other cases take longer time.

Thanks

One reason is the background checks, which may not have been completed when you wrote the test.

There is another office St. Clair office in Toronto. St. Clair office is processing all FP and RQ applicants from all Eastern and Atlantic Canada. However, we have not seen any applicant doing test and/or oath in St. Clair, so it seems FP/RQ applicants after completion/ clearance of processing at St. Clair are redirected to visa offices geographically close to their locations.

Hamilton is another office which is processing applicants from Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, and possibly Milton.
