I have my citizenship test coming up and just wanted to ensure if I am taking all the documents for the day. Please let me know if I am missing anything:

+citizenship test letter

+PR card

+driving and health card from Ontario

+COPR

+ Passports within eligibility period (1 expired and 1 valid)

+study permit, off campus work permit and post graduate wp

+original IELTS and degree from Canada

+a copy of citizenship application

I gave me test yesterday and she mentioned 4-6 weeks.I asked because I have a trip coming up in 4 weeks. Congrats!

You can request your file under ATIP for free but here are the caveats -
1. It will be generated the day of (or the day after) your request but you will probably receive the report after 30 days.
2. The information will probably be sparse. Security stuff will be redacted and other details bare. It could even be misleading if you see dates that are just placeholders (usually 1 year out from your AOR)
It can be useful in knowing which office your file is headed and has it already been sent to the office.
(I haven't ordered the report but that is the summary of what I have seen in these forums from people who have done it)

I been asked the same Question during the interview after the test if I ever had a welfare and I never had welfare! didn't they have every applicants social insurance number ?
