yeah that make sence.. Thank you razerbladeAll stamps that are not in English/French need to be translated. If the date on the stamp is in another script, the officer wouldn't know whether it falls inside or outside your eligibility.

Dummy but real question:
How about if I am late 10-20 minutes for the Citizenship exam? Are they very strict with this time, or not much?
[Exam scheduled in Downtown, very far from my home and traffic is bad in the morning. 8:15am, And I have kids to drop off to daycares. Almost can not make it 8:15, maybe 8:30 to 8:40 arrive. Nobody at home help me that day.]
Paper based, you circle the right answer/choice using a pencil - the marking is computer-aided though, so it doesn't take them time to produce the result. Is the test online or paper base to circle ?
Thanks,
Still did not get answer for my original question.
If they deal with the time very strict, yes I will find a babysitter, and arrive 30 minutes earlier.
If it is not that much, I will arrange to arrive on time, and possibly late few minutes due to whatever reason of delay.
Thanks anyway.
Talk about lead wait times, us Newfoundlanders didn't even get the test invite yet. Most (or maybe all) of us submitted our application during Oct. 16-23rd and still waiting for CIC blessings..Looking at the trends it seems like Toronto applications take the longest to be completed. Is that normal?
Not one person from Oct applications has received an oath date yet.

if possible do not reschedule again. I think you will be allowed to ( given proper documentation about your request that you would be away etc etc). Please update my record:
ID: koziamorda1
Rescheduled the test, letter sent on February 23 and new test date is March 21
ECAS has only a line that the letter was sent and it did not state the new test day, I learnt about new test date only from the paper letter I received in mail.
Also, I have asked CIC (both Sydney office and local Alberta office) to not schedule the test on that day because I will be away. But apparently communications are broken there (letter states that I did not show up for the first scheduled test data and their records have no record of my reschedule request). I used both email and webworm to ask for reschedule.
Will have to go for March 21st, otherwise I feel like they will simply return my application and will ignore my reschedule requests (frustrating!!!)
