Hi everyone,

My interview on 15th Feb was canceled as they mentioned it was an administrative error. Since then I am waiting for rescheduling of my interview. My question is that Is there anyone else in the same boat? If yes then how long you been waiting? Do they also ask the PCC again? I am living in Canada for last 6 years and 5 years on PR and never left the country more than 10 days?

I will appreciate your reply.

Hi,

One last leg of waiting... God, I hope I have enough patience to wait it out lol... They told me 4-8 weeks, so let's hope that's the case for Mississauga...

Hi everyone
Today I got a new line in my Ecas :

4.We sent you correspondence on March 9, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Have any idea whats this for?

My file went inprocess since jan8/ Montreal

Dummy but real question:
How about if I am late 10-20 minutes for the Citizenship exam? Are they very strict with this time, or not much?

[Exam scheduled in Downtown, very far from my home and traffic is bad in the morning. 8:15am, And I have kids to drop off to daycares. Almost can not make it 8:15, maybe 8:30 to 8:40 arrive. Nobody at home help me that day.]

Likely a request for fingerprints. Less commonly this is a request for additional information.

That may be too late.

I had a later appointment (10:15) but we started the test itself, after having been informed of the procedures etc, at exactly 10:31 (they announced the time when we started). At that point there was nobody who could do the check-in (as they were proctoring our test), so late-comers could not be accommodated within the same session. Considering the information they offered during the briefing it seems unlikely they'd let someone join in who had not heard the information in it.

I'd recommend you get in touch with IRCC and ask if they can book you for a session later in the day (maybe on the same date, maybe a later date). Not showing up or showing up too late without notice seems unlikely to go over well, especially as this is something (they may say) you could foresee.
