Did you ask the officer during your interview on what would happen next for your application?

I think the default action would be to wait until your wife passes the test on the second attempt, and then both applications move to the next step.

This is what they said but here is below what I knew from CIC Website and based on that I applied one file for the whole family!

After the test, you or a family member may be asked to:
If this happens, we may process the other family members’ applications separately. This process might mean that they will attend an earlier citizenship ceremony and become citizens faster than the one re-writing the test or attending the interview.

We will tell you before we process your family’s applications separately. We will also send you a form that you can use to ask us to process the applications together. If you want the applications processed together, we will pause the other family members’ applications until after this second test or interview.

If citizenship is then granted after the second test/interview, all family members will attend the same ceremony.

Hi everyone, where can we get our passport stamps translated in English? And how much will it cost?
Test will be 27 of February as part of the requirement.
Anyone have the same experience?

Thank you

I used the following company: https://taontario.ca/

$7 per stamp+GST and free regular mail. You should email them scanned copies of passports and stamps. The whole process took 1 week.

Does anyone have idea how long it can tak to get test invitation after get in process in winnipeg ??
Thanks

I am not sure this is correct. Don't we get the certificates at the citizenship ceremony? Why wait two months? Quote from CIC website:
During your ceremony, you will:
Can someone else please clarify?

Thanks.
We were told that we would finish the oath and get the certificates during the oath,,,,,,,the oath will be in two months after we passed the test.

Does it explain better?

The officer told us two months to be safe and I am guessing one month will be enough according to the current processing speed of Ottawa office.

Cheers.

Hello everyone,
I have a question for October's applicants who got QR, how many days it took to update their case after the third line (In process). For myself, my case is frozen since December 5, 2017. I sent all the required documents to Ottawa office before 45 days.
Thank you in advance.
