FP request are not for ppl who have traveled. Many people are getting it - if the name or dob matches someone else's they request FP. Nothing to worry about - just get the FP done and you should be ok, good luck!

No I havent. I have the exact same time and date as you. I had to call (waited on hold for 40 mins) and was told it's in Scarborough. If not, I wouldn't know. Then they sent me an email with details of what I need to bring along

I called CIC today and they informed me they usually DO NOT send out the citizenship study Guide even though it says so in ECAS.
That's pretty odd! I asked them i have not even received AOR by post, only received it by email, even though it said so in ECAS that AOR was mailed out; she mentioned 'we send only email in most cases'. I then asked her what about citizenship test date invitation letter? She said it could either be sent by postal mail or by email or by both! How weird, no concrete and fixed way of correspondences!

So many October threads (I see 4 different ones in the citizenship forum!). It's very confusing...

Anyway my application was confirmed to be under urgent processing...but there's been no update on the status since IP on Jan 9. I'm guessing urgent processing doesn't really move the needle.

Got Test invite. We sent you a notice on January 17, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 3, 2018

Received FP request today, Jan 22nd (Sent Jan 17th). How concerned should I be about this issue?

I don't have a common name so I don't know what the issue is. I have nexus and a government security clearance...

I booked fingerprints tomorrow evening. Hoping the results get to CIC and are settled with them prior to my Citizenship test early February.
