Hi,
So I did the Test yesterday in Vancouver and got a "Decision Made" update on my ecas today. Please update on spreadsheet.

For those interested, the test was not very difficult if you give the Discover pdf a good one time read. I also use v-soul for the mock tests and that was really helpful too. Ended up getting 19/20 correct. The officer asked me a few questions to verify my identity. She also verified the travel dates matched the stamps on my passport so make sure you have everything checked out. The only documents I got asked for were the COPR, PR card, and two pieces of ID. I was in and out of the centre in around an hour and a half.

Congrats & thanks for sharing your experience ....

Can some one please update the list with my latest info:

FP request January 16 2018

FP sent January 18 2018

and the letter was from St.Clair office which is known fro slow process. I hope this FP doesn't push my application into a limbo. Specially with all the bad stories about non-routine applications
Updated. Thanks for sharing. FP request doesn't delay applications by a lot, maybe a couple weeks, if at all.

Update: my wife got a FP request on January 15. Will do it today.

I'm guessing it's because of her maiden name (my last name is not common).

I told her that I'll get my divorce papers ready, just in case...:)

Were the questions straight forward like those seen in the apps? Or are they a bit wordy/tricky?

Also is it important to know all dates and names of people tied to all the important historical events?

Hello Everyone,

FP request was sent on 12th January , 2018 as it shows on my online account.
I haven't received the mail or email yet , can anyone advise how long does it take to receive the mail?
I am in Edmonton.
Also do we have to send the FP in 30 days or 60 days back to CIC.

thank you :)

Hi guys,
Do we receive an update in ECAS for all types of documents (PQ, PPQ, FP) being sent from IRCC?
I am just wondering if they send anything and somehow we do not receive it.
I appreciate if you can shed light on this

Nope. ECAS does not reflect RQ, QAE-PPQ etc.

FP is reflected on ECAS, however not explicitly. All it says is that some correspondence has been sent to you.

I could be wrong, but I think I read 30 days on this forum.

Also, seniors on this forum said that IRCC may be a little bit flexible on the 30 day deadline, meaning should be ok if you're a few days late. Again, I'm not an expert. Good luck

Hi Guys,

I just got my ECAS updated with the test invite.
"We sent you a notice on January 17, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 28, 2018 at 8:00 AM"
Could you please update the spreadsheet?

Thanks!

Thank you for pointing this out.
My ECAS is not updating anything after Dec 19 when my my application went in process. What is the best way to figure out if anything has been sent to me or not?
