I had serious issues paying application fee due to heavy traffic, after entering credit card information site would give errors "technical difficulties / website being updated"
I tried a few times and kept getting the same error..15 minutes later credit card was charged 5 times, total of $3150 and five approved receipts sent to email.
I made another payment with Visa debit, received the same error on website with approved receipt sent to email, printed approved receipt for Visa debit and sent application.
Sent email to IPRMS-SIGPR@cic.gc.ca requesting for refund on 5 charges to credit card due to website issues.
Refund process could take upto 8 weeks !!!!

Basically, zero f**ks given to website issues

****** Hope they dont refund the charge on Visa debit as package is already on its way with the approved receipt *****

Last thing I expected to go wrong !

Wow i thought that doesnt happen as the bank allows one of the same transaction to be processed

If yes, complete CIT0177, which is only for governmental employees

Is the answer 'No' if you were not employed in Governmental works?

Yes but not applicable maybe i will fill the form and list N/A to everything

In a similar boat - moved here in Nov 2012, PR Sep 2015 but have traveled for about half a year in total - so applying in a month.
