Just a heads up:

If you signed your application on October 11th, make sure you were eligible to apply for Citizenship on October 10th (Under the old regulations). At the end of the form it clearly says: You must be eligible to apply for citizenship the day before you sign your application. Sooooooooooo BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With so many people already applied, what did you do with passport submission. Just biographical pages OR each page. I think doc checklist says biographical pages but instruction guide just says all passports (and does not specify each page).
From the ckecklist: Photocopies of biographical pages of passports and/or travel documents.....

Let's be clear about this - because you and others are causing grief to many people. No one applying under the new rules needed to be eligible under the old regulations on the 10th Oct. This is absolute rubbish - so stop saying it.

Anyone applying on the 11th Oct was required to have 1095 days of presence prior to the 11th, which was the 10th. The same way that anyone wanting to apply today, the 12th, needs to have 1095 days prior to today, the 11th. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAD TO BE ELIGIBLE UNDER THE OLD REGS.

When you complete the calculator it asks for the date you intend to apply. If the calc says you have 1095 days and everything is good based on all your travels - YOU CAN APPLY. If it says "NO", you can't apply.

OMG no one is causing grief, I am just saying what the form says at the end. I am also trying to guide people to be extremely careful and meticulous while filling their applications. Unlike permanent residence applications, there is no cap to be filled here and it could be even more painful to have their application rejected after a couple of months due to unforeseen reasons. Again if my comment caused some grief I apologize in advance.

Courier just picked up my application. The ball is in IRCC's court now...

All fine in my opinion, the only thing I am VERY WORRIED about is the dates for Temporary Resident permits on the calculator (Pre PR Credit)

I put Study Permit October 12, 2012 - day I received PR.
My Study permit was issued in July of that year but my spouse insisted that we only operate within the eligibility period and not f up the calculation.
So I reaaaalllly hope IRCC will understand what exactly I did. I am sure I am not the only one who did it, since I saw several questions about that...

On the application form though, I put the correct issue date from Study Permit... I also enclosed all copies of all Study/Work permits we held in the eligibility period, so if anything, I diclosed ALL I COULD.

That's why I hate IRCC forms, there is always a question or two that are confusing and you are not sure HOW EXACTLY they want it filled out...

I should have clarified that in the letter of explanation but it's too late now :)

I hope they don't return my application, cuz that would just piss me right off...

Spreading false information causes others grief.

Very well said. You are absolutely correct. If calculator says 1095 then you are good to go.

To others, please please stop saying things when you don't understand how things work.

Hi DID you sign and put 11 October? or tomorrow. Got confused by this in the application "make sure that you are eligible to apply for citizenship on the day before" Should the signature be 11October or 12 October.
It sounds like it is 12th for the new rule @Pepe and another member on the forum called to confirm that.
