It was the anniversary they received so I gave IRCC a call.

I asked the agent whats keeping my application stuck, she said she has no idea. Apparently my background check has been complete for a while, and there doesn't seem to be anything on my file that indicates a reason for the delay.

She gave the standard reply that she'll contact the local office and that I should hear back in maximum 3 months. I chuckled when I heard 3 months and she said there isn't anything she can do about this new timeline.

Yup, they gave me a similar answer, but they didn't even give me that 3 months, they just said they are doing their best to process as soon as possible. The same uselss answer they always give.

I agree. Honestly, if anyone in my company and most other companies works like these cic agents they'll be fired in less than a week.

Just completed the oath taking ceremony at Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga. Fire alarm almost ruined the event, but in the end it was all good. Judge had a posh British accent.

I Am a silent follower of the thread. To those who have already taken the test, i know there are 20 MCQs but are they done on paper or on computer?
And if computer, do we get to know the answer (right or wrong) right away or after we finish the whole test?

Answers need to be circled on a scantron sheet. They tell you the score during the interview, right after the test.

Yes called them one week after passing the year time line.. they said will send inquiry to the local office.

RQ/QAE applicant. At last my journey came to an end. Test and oath were on the same day. they did not ask uk entry/exit document in the interview.
I suggest one thing that whoever unemployed within the last 5 years, just prepare a strong answer for, how did you support yourself.
Thanks for all your support in the forum. Please update spread sheet. test invite is on 11th Oct. test and oath were on 26th October.
I will still keep an eye on this forum and suggest if any.
