There could be another possibility. I think each case officer has to review specific numbers of application per day and provide AOR. It is possible that they put difficult applications aside and review easyone, those who have not exit Canada during the last five years or those who lives in same address.

That's a wild guess. I haven't received AOR and I submitted on Oct 12 and I have not traveled outside of Canada since I came to Canada, and your point about living in the same address is not logical (AOR is just checking signatures, gaps, and other min. requirements) so having lived in different addresses in the past in not what they are looking for in issuing AOR

I have had 3 addresses in Canada and traveled outside Canada 4-5 times a year during my eligibility period, and got my AOR

I think AOR is just an acknowledgement that full application + documents were received (by cross-referencing them with the checklist) and that you paid the right amount of processing fee.
It is more of a random processing of applications received around the same time than a FIFO. Take for instance 1000 applications were received between Oct 11 and 16 and distributed to 10 officers for review in the following order: Officers 1 = Application #1-100, Officer 2 = Application # 101 - 200, Officer 3 = Application # 201-300, Officer 4 = Application # 301 - 400 and so on. The likelihood that application # 301 will get AOR before application #100 is higher eventhough the latter was received much earlier.

Let's hang in there, everyone will get AOR within a month of delivery.

instead of withdrawing your application, wait till you get AOR or your application is returned. Currently you may be thinking that there is one error or issue but CIC may find other mistakes in your application and then you can fix all at one time , or they may accept your application. Every application will have some errors no matter how carefully we fill it in. Let CIC revirew it first, I am also waiting for AOR but I also check my mail box in case they return my application due to a mistake or missing document or unclear photocopy.
I realized that on my resident calculator print out I did not have pre PR credit days. May be because I printed out previously saved calculation ??

Okay, it is likely that your application will be returned but if CIC see any other error in your application they will ask you to correct that too. Thus it is good to wait till your application is returned. What is benefit of withdrawing, it will take same time, but if you have already withdrawn your application then it is okay. Good luck.

When it comes back can i use the same payment receipt for next application?

I have seen in this thread or somewhere else that you can use the same payment receipt. No need to pay again. I hope senior members of this forum will comment on it if I am wrong.

I am, therefore there is no I-94 report for me.

Anyone, American and non-American, can make a Freedom of Information request for their US entries from the US Customers and Border Protection. It is separate from the I-94 records.

And when you fill new application afer original is returned. What should you answer in new application when they ask’have you applied for citizenship before’ ?

Just state “no”. applications are entered into the system after AOR.
When you request withdrawal do you get your application back ?or they just keep it there ?

i highly disagree you thought but good points u mentioned.

i have applied 11 OCT 2017.
you can say I am easy case: YET no AOR.

1. have never travelled outside Canada since day 1 arived 2010, long before eligillity
2.Lived only 2 addresses same town since 2010 current one is since 2012 since eligillity.
3.No employment since severe injury 2013 but that doesnt determine eligibillity.
4.sent Drivers License, PR Card both sides copies, COPR, Language certificate, protected person Doc status copy as IDs every id and explained Y i dont have passport.
5.Applied as single so no baggage.

but still no AOR, so i think they first open Courrier mails for Dartmouth address, majority of also who got AOR are from Calgary & Vancouver so CIC might hate Ontario & Quebec applicants.

according to Google spreedsheet and forum replies on this site its proof they CIC like people who applied from calgary and vancouver and want them to feel welcomed for quick intergration.
