To all my expert friends here, I have a quick question, to order GCMS notes was i supposed to have selected Privacy Act or Access to Information? I already selected Privacy Act and it did not ask me to pay or anything and i got an email confirmation for GCMS order. got confused as I read somewhere on this forum that we need to select Access to Information rather den Privacy Act, can anyone clarify please, do I have re-apply now?

I received my oath invitation. Below is the status in ecas:

We sent you a notice on April 9, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on April 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
Location : Ottawa

Please update the spreadsheet. Thank you!
when did you write your test?
reason i ask is i am scheduled for my test on April 25, 2018 in ottawa.
Wondering what is the time gap between passing the test and getting the oath at ottawa office.

Requesting notes under the Privacy act is free. No need to reapply. You did the right thing. Although the notes won't help much.

Had the test yesterday, 19/20. The interviewer took a look at the stamps in my passport (nothing within eligibility period other than flagpoling when I got PR), said they had no questions and that everything looked good. Status changed to decision made on March 29
Got my oath invitation letter this morning! Letter dated April 11th, oath is on May 11th. Good luck everyone!

Hello,
I am having citizenship examination on 19th April; Can anyone help me with study material or do I need to buy that online test ID (i think which is around $30). I am not sure what to do ??
Any suggestion pls
Don't buy anything...just read discover Canada 2-3 times, listen to the important chapters a few times on audio and solve as many online tests as you can.

Scarborough what u doing , common send the oat to people who are waiting ... :p:p:D:D
I think the first Scarborough October applicant who gets an Oath Invite should buy a Lottery ticket too...there's probably a big chance in him/her winning the Lottery if he/she is that lucky to get the first Oath invite!!

If you are ordering for yourself than privacy act. If you are ordering for someone else than Information Act and it will cost you $5.

Good luck
