In the citizenship application form CIT 0002, it asks if I was on a Temporary work permit, vistor etc, right next to it it asks for dates for my status mentioned previously, should enter the date I got my post grad worth permit issued or the date 5 years prior to signibg of my application from.

I cannot seem to find my post grad work permit though. Please help

I used my visa sticker date from the passport for this purpose.

What happens if your application does not pass the muster and so you do not get an AOR? I assume the whole package will be returned to you, without any electronic notification, correct?

Correct. Application package is returned. You can correct whatever they find incomplete, and mail back the same package with the same fee receipt. Do not have to pay again. As long as the date you signed the application is not more than 90 days old by the time they receive it again.
