I have spent over 183 days outside of canada but not just in one country. Approximately 80days in one country and 120 days in another. That’s why I’m confused. Beacause what i know is that when you spend 183 days outside of canada in one country you get a police certificate from that particular country. The officer told me to give her the dates and i did but i had no written proof of it I don’t know of they’ll go with just that or not. She seemed satisfied and didn’t say anything. She said you’ll be getting you oath next. What do think? Do you have any information regarding this situation? Or anyone? When you will get an oath invite it will be a letter, telling you date and time and what to bring on that.
Based on your question, you do not need a police certificate. And will not asked to provide one if officer is satisfied that total days spend outside Canada are less than 183 for any particular country.
