If you got the test invite through email, you won't get another one via regular mail. You will need to print the pdf attached to that email and take it with you to the test.

FP request is sent via regular mail, not email (could change in the future, but hasn't yet).

Thank you so much! I will update when I receive the FP request via mail!
Since I was born in India , moved to Canada when I was 18
Now I am 25, would they be asking for Police Report from India too or just the fingerprints from RCMP ??

Some test centers are sending the invite via email these days, while others still via snail mail. Looks like IRCC is upgrading their systems to the 21st century. For now, assume it could be either by email or regular mail.

Can we check the status online for test invitation? My letter/email never comes, what if it was lost on the way?

Yes, ecas will show the date and time of the test, but the location is only revealed on the invite letter. Most likely invite will come via email, as seems to be the latest trend.

PCC only needs to be provided if you spent more than 183 days in a country other than Canada, in 4 years preceding the date you sign the application. 183 days need not be consecutive. If this is the case, then PCC needs to be provided when you submit the application.

What sort of questions were asked? Are they super specific related to dates and historically important people, or are they more related to geography and the structure of governance?

Hi All,

I still didn't receive the test invite neither by mail or email, as per the status online it was sent Jan 9.
should I wait few more days or contact CIC? Exam date is Feb 5.
