Hi Everyone,

A quick question, do you get the letter for test and interview via email or through the post?

My detail are Application sent: 11th Oct
Application Delivered: 16th Oct
AOR received: 22nd Nov
In progress Ecas : 1st Dec

Test invite could come via email OR regular mail. ECAS will update regardless.

My 2 cents: don't panic. Oct applicants are still getting AOR. Call center agent is correct in this case, your application hasn't been opened yet.

Did you send via regular mail, or expresspost, or courier ?
Did someone sign for your application on delivery ?
Did you create a copy of your application before sending it ? If so, I would urge you to review it multiple times to make sure you didn't make any errors nor miss any documents.

If someone signed for your application on delivery, and you filled out everything correctly as well as included all requested documents, you will get AOR eventually.[/QUO

You're good then. Unfortunately, nothing can be done but wait. There is no point in contacting IRCC call center agents, or submitting web inquiries till you get AOR. Calling the agents will frustrate you, because most of them are not trained, and have no idea what is going on at CPC-Sydney.

Honestly, I don't think I'm really qualified to answer that. I haven't gone for the interview yet. @Stef., would you please guide us here ? Thanks!

I remember reading that the following original documents are a MUST:
Passports (all, including expired ones that fall within your eligibility period)
Driver's license, Health Card (All original ID proofs that you submitted with your app)
COPR
PR card
English language proof (original IELTS/transcript/degree/dimploma)

Also, found the following quote from someone who went for the test. Hope it helps.

I agree. Take originals of all documents you sent copies while submitting your application. However, in practicality, test invitation letter, passport and PR card would suffice.

I have got my AOR on November 20, 17 but since then there are no update. Is it normal?
For info I am single, applied from Montreal and delivered on Oct 13, 17

Chill, if u got AOR than you must wait because your app is at local office waiting to be proccessed and it could be your office have too many apps or backlog which even if u call CIC they cant do anything and they will tell u its 12 months to proccess so its too earlier for them to investigate and too earlier for u to panic.

I think you sent your application on Oct 19 and it was received on Oct 23. Later, on Dec 13 you received your AOR.

Can you let us know your Physical presence days and application type (Single/ Family)

I think a Canadian university degree should suffice. In fact, that was the only language proof I included in my application package. BTW, have you received a test invite letter?

Yes I did receive test invite. the thing is that I didn't include university degree when I applied, I included my English test score.
