In process since Dec 12, 199 days. So not stressed. It's the long Canada Day weekend. Enjoy it, stress free.
 
I believe all our applications are going to cross 300 days
 
Below is my timeline.. I live in Brampton, my test and oath location is Scarborough .
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 18, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 24, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on January 10, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on April 3, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 23, 2018 at 11:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
  5. We sent you a notice on July 3, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on July 26, 2018 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
 
Congrats @torrcan, one of of the lucky ones out of Brampton to make it through :) in good time
 
Now down to 20 Brampton applicants left. 19 waiting for test invite status and 1 waiting for in process status.

I'm going paranoid - I'm in process since Nov 23 with absolutely no communication since Oct 31st Aor. 40 days since I raised atip request, but no gcms email.

Just cant understand why several applicants from later months are getting invite, while good chunk of Oct still waiting.

Actually it's 21 out of 34 Brampton applicants. The one had a test invite but was cancelled due to flooding. So now that person is back to IP waiting for test invite again.
 
Now down to 20 out of 34 Brampton applicants. I wonder who gotten past the test invite.
 
My brother who is an October applicant from Brampton (not in the tracker), got a fingerprint request last week.
Not sure what to make out of it...

There's nothing to worry about. They either conduct random FP requests or your brother's birth date and gender matches a file on system and need to separate your brother's identity from the criminal file on system.
 
he got a FP after 8 months? looks like they just got it

AOR status was in December I believe.
but yeah this request seems to have come very late.
The FP request was made from the Scarborough office as all FP requests come from there I think.

Not all fingerprint requests come from Scarborough. There is one for Western region of Canada. Not sure which office deal with them.

While fingerprints did come late for the applicant, they can request FP at any time, I think, up to DM stage. There has been a few cases whereby the request was made even after completing test/interview.
