Nope I havent heard anything yet, I went to MP office last thursday.
So they'll help me to contact CIC regarding the matter & update me sometime this week.

No. The MP office said they have your medical and RPRF updated but they did not give us a time frame as to how long it will take or when the next step will be. Background checks are being run :/
I feel like there was no point of going to the MP office. Still haven't received the PPR request.

I sent case specific inquiry and they replied that our medical is still under review.

I sent mine on 16th I think and havent heard anything yet.

MP office just called me saying that there are some turnover in CIC in october (some ppl left), so my application get reassigned to other person couple times,

But they also told me that my application looks good (only medical that still in progress),
and CIC also told MP office that I'll hear back from CIC by December 15th.

At least thats a little bit of relieve for me.. :)

just go here : http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseofCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

and enter your postal code, you'll be find to the nearest parliament office from your place,
in my case, I went to their office and provide them my application information like first name, last name, client id, application id, sin number, application type and they'll contact CIC on your behalf. (you don't need to pay anything/bring anything else).

Hope it helps!
