I submit my application last Oct 2009. everyone told me it is about 12 month wait... But I got document request in 5 months. and email saying case under review.... any idea??
There are different types of document requests for AINP H1-B applicants. AINP sometimes asks for documents missing in the original application (such as signatures on application form) or documents which needs to be updated (such as H1-B status if it needs to be renewed). The document request (email) you receive just before AINP issues nomination will be similar to the following:vollog said:Does it mean that My case is not far from approve?

Jasper, How long it normally take to get the nomination after this request? BTW, I don't even get FIle # before I got this request...... It is really a surprise///Jasper said:There are different types of document requests for AINP H1-B applicants. · A copy of the candidate's most recent pay stub
· A copy of the candidate's current and valid H1B visa or I-797 Notice of Approval
· Details regarding any changes to the candidate's employment situation
· Address update, if there have been any changes
· Details regarding any changes to the candidate's family composition
Congratulations, vollog! It looks like the document request for their final decision.vollog said:Jasper, How long it normally take to get the nomination after this request? BTW, I don't even get FIle # before I got this request...... It is really a surprise///
I think If I got nomination, that means the H1b Program in Alberta are still faster than FSW and still alive.
Thanks JasperJasper said:Congratulations, vollog! It looks like the document request for their final decision.
It used to take only 2-3 weeks after the document request (in Nov-Dec 2009), but now it seems to take about a month to receive nomination certificate by mail.
And it is very surprising that your case is being processed so fast (even without file number!), but it may be related to your occupation. What is your NOC code?
Again, congratulations!
I don't have any file number. Just this email.......no idea what is going on.....wantabnomination said:Hello Vellog
