Oct 14th - Biometrics

Hi,

I submitted my biometrics on Oct 14th, but havent had any update yet. Has anyone experiencing the same issue? A lot of the earlier October submission has already received an update - either completion in their portal or ghost update.

The same biometrics submitted day. there's a ton of ppl have even earlier bio submitted/updated day and still waiting.

Let's be patient. I see there are a couple of ppl reporting got email/copr today. that's a good sigh. I am quite positive that we could get our copr by the end of the month.

Did you have any ghost update? A friend of mine who had submitted biometrics a week before me, has received a ghost update in the first week of November. Just today, IRCC sent her an email for portal confirmation or something.

True. I haven’t seen any movement. Been calling IRCC every week. They say criminality is in progress. Dont know what is taking long.

What I know is after 2 weeks of biometrics submission, I called IRCC and found out the criminality has passed. which means they have processed my biometrics within two weeks.

Biometrics exemption updated on Oct 15. That`s all. I saw in another thread that if you receive your biometric fee refund to your bank account, it is a sign that you are going to receive CoPR soon. But how knows, can not predict anything......

I just called IRCC and the agent has informed me that my criminality and security has started but not yet done. I am not really sure why... The agent has also told me that requesting for GCMS notes prolongs the processing time. Again, I am not sure why is that the case.

I called IRCC today. And the criminality is still in progress. I ordered GCMS notes on Oct 11, which I dint receive still. I even asked if there are any notes on my file, that I should worry about. The agent said everything is on file and it is with the visa officer to pick up the file. Seriously don't know what is taking this longgggg....
