me too. I talked to an agent today. she gave me several conteradictory information ika BS.
she first said that she talked to Sydney people and they told told her they're dealing with October 19th people. then she added 'Sydney people didn't give her any information regarding my application and they can only look into application that pass 6 weeks wait'. So I told her that actually tomorrow will be exactly 6 weeks from when my application was delivered therefore I should be able to call again on Monday to get more info. she replied 'nope just wait another month before contacting us again' and I was like 'whaaa'. she refused to explain her logic to me why I cannot get more info after 6 weeks. put it simply she basically told me it is what it is in a polite way. I sent my application on October 12th and it was signed by Ryan the next day. I guess I'm gonna contact them again on Monday.
 
maybe we can find a common denominator among us. I cannot believe it took such a long time and still not even a simple AOR or any news for that matter

Yes that right they work on 19 Cox my application was deliver on 19 and I got AOR today. Sorry to hear that you still didn't get answer from them hopefully tomorrow or Monday
 
If you take a look at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...lbsAxpNlOrvk2uFGZzm_ZFCnfg/htmlview?sle=true#, you'll see that there are still a number of people from Oct 13 that are still waiting to hear.
You'll also see from the small sample size (number of applicants per month) that the number of applicants in October was 5 times that of September. Of course, this probably doesn't represent the real situation because many people following this forum were the ones eager for the 3/5 year bill to pass, but it does give an indication that the application volumes have increased by a lot, and as a result, I think it's fair to assume that processing times will be affected too. It sucks to be waiting (I'm in the November batch so I have a long way to go), but it's a waiting game from here on
 
I only got mine 2 days ago so don't worry too much about it. CIC doesn't seem to have a processing queue; they just dump all the envelopes in a giant pile and open them up at random.

I read the analysis in some other forum that Oct,13 people will receive their AOR up till Nov,27. Hope for the best guys:)
