Hi Playtrix,

In your timeline for OCI, did you get the timeline from the BLS India Application Tracking?

Or did you go to this website to get the timeline: http://passport.gov.in/oci/statusEnqury

Sorry for the late reply I used passport.gov.in/oci/statusEnqury
BLS site does not tell much other "Processing at consulate" They only update when they dispatch VIA fedex with the tracking number. So when you get your documents recieved status from passport.gov.in/oci/statusEnqury then goto BLS site after a few days to get your tracking number.

Guys how do I scan a photo to the size of 30 kb for uploading?

Did you try to upload a big photo to the website and if it had shortened it to 30kb automatically?
If that does not work, I think you may have to use a photo editor application.

You may download this resizing software relevant to your OS.

just curious, is the OCI card like a PR card or is it a booklet like the passport ?

It would be nice if it was a card, much easier to carry around. I think Indian government prefers to stamp their own document

The couple of pages are just for endorsement or something else. Canadian passport is stamped during the entry/exit to/from India
