SC should probably get updated by tomorrow or Friday.....

You can also check passport India site to see the status if it has been printed or not. If printed then should arrive soon.

Wow weird, the India passport site says:
"Surrender Certificate application has been printed."

Do they mean they printed the certificate application or the certificate?

btw, thanks for the tip, I wasn't even checking there before! I was just checking the BLS site.

check BLS tracking, soon (1 to 3 days) it will change to Dispatched (if opted for courier ) , My son Surrender was sent to BLS center at my location from there it was dispatched took little extra time than My wife & myself got it dispatched from ottawa and got on the next day.

You will see dispatched or In transit from high commission to BLS center which means there is an extra 1 or 2 days delay.

if opted for pick up, you will see ready for pick up.

Hello Guys,
Can anyone please tell me amount we need to buy the demand draft in order to submit oci application for a single applicant via postal application. Not in person.
1) 345
2) 7.4+ courier. How do we know what courier fare is?

Brampton applicant with 30-May OCI Acknowledgment.
My wife OCI status shows processed today. Mine is still "Under Process".
Nice to see some progress.

Below are my timelines so far:
06-May - Sent to BLS via Purolator
09-May - Delivered at BLS
12-May - Under Process
12-May - Processing at Consulate General
30-May - OCI Application status - Date Of Acknowledgment
30-May - OCI Application status - Under Process
21-Jun - OCI status changed to processed (for my wife as of now)

My OCI status also changed to Processed today.
BLS Site shows "Processing at Consulate General" for both of us.

Draft is compulsory only for the 345.
For the other fees/amounts - those can be paid either by draft, cash or DEBIT. No Credit card. Hope it helps

Better to callup their customer care and ask the total amount apart from the bank draft.
Even if one cent is missing, they will return your package and charge again for courier.

Just wait for few more days, its basically either in transit or waiting for the consul signature at the table.

Also keep tracking BLS site, since the above message is the last message and there wont be any further update on India passport site. Now just track BLS only.

For me, it says correctly.

Yea actually never mind.

I was checking my status here:

Status: Surrender Certificate application has been printed

Then I just checked here:
https://portal3.passportindia.gov.in/
Status: Surrender Certificate has been printed

I guess there's two places you can check, and the wording is slightly different in both.

OCI processed on 17th June but still no update on BLS Toronto about "Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping".
All I see is my previous status "Original documents Dispatched via courier" . How long does OCI takes to get delivered to BLS from Consulate ?

How long did it take to get your originals back from BLS?
