Hi I am planning to go to BLS office in Toronto tomorrow at Lawrence avenue and apply for OCI and surrender my Indian passport the same day. I uploaded my picture and signature and when I took the print out of the form my picture and signature were printed. So where do I affix my picture on the form now? on top of the printed picture?

Any feedback on experience at the Lawrence avenue office is appreciated. Hope it goes smoothly.

I applied at BLS Brampton. I have already mentioned about the photograph (check post #1370).
Just to repeat the info- Take the photos along (and just in case glue stick), BLS will affix it for you. I vaguely remember them affixing it on the left bottom of the 1st page.

New to thread, sorry if this has already been discussed. I applied for OCI for my son (he is canadian new born), Submitted walkin application on December 29th, 2018 at BLS Brampton. the recent status update was done to below,

Not sure what it means? I am travelling soon with my son in 3 weeks to India. Do you guys think I would receive his OCI before that?

I applied at BLS Brampton. I have already mentioned about the photograph (check post #1370).

Thanks. Yes BLS affixed it on the right bottom of the page. It was a smooth process. I applied for surrendering my passport and OCI together.

You don't need to attach your picture on form. Take your picture with you to BSL office. They will attach when you will submit OCI form.

Yes you will. They will update Purolator Tracking number soon if you opted to receive it by courier.

Can anyone confirm if the OCI fees is 425$ for Toronto applications. On Fees page it says
A) $425 in favor of "The Consulate General of India - Toronto" (For Toronto Jurisdiction)"

It says
B)In favor of BLS International Services Canada Inc.: Fees payable under this section is for BLS Processing fee + Courier fee only

If I understand correctly for postal applications I make a draft for (A) and then call them to pay (B) ?

In my case even though I had opted for Purolator delivery, the BLS status remained the same as yours but did not get updated by Purolator tracking number. Purolator tried to deliver but they from from outside my apartment building and now I have to go pick it up from the Purolator office myself. So, give BLs a call and get the confirmation and tracking number from them.

Hi Bro, There is just BLS website for tracking.
I submitted my passports for surrender on 5 Feb and was told it could take 3 weeks. Today just happened to check BLS website tracking and found in the morning Ready for Dispatch status. A few minutes ago re-checked and found Dispatched thru Purolator with AW Bill no. Checked Purolator site and shows will receive tomorrow.
