I received my Canadian passport with given name blank, but now for OCI given name is mandatory. What shall I do?

Is that necessary? I am fine getting an oci with same details as Canadian passport with given name blank. It's just the difference in the way the 2 countries document my name.

I meant in the online application form. I am not sure if I put xxx in given name as some people have done that. Also, not sure if an affidavit needs to be done.
Put it as XXX. You will receive OCI with given name as XXX. Travelled with such OCI no issues
XXX is such a silly thing . They should ve made it not mandatory. I also have no given name , only surname. Also, did u attach an affidavit? Or just wrote XXX and submitted it.
