OCI FEE CHANGED ON APRIL1 2024

Hello All
Last month on 20 March 2024, I send my daughter OCI application via postal service and it was received by BLS Brampton on 21 March 2024. Today on 4th April 2024 they send my application back to me stating that from 1 April 2024. OCI fee has been changed and I need to pay new fee as well need to pay for the courier again that is around 65cad. Does anyone else face this situation and do anyone know where I can report my complaint against BLS.

I just got off the call with BLS. Same case for us.. it was for Surrender Certificate. My application was received at BLS on March 27 and has now been sent back.
The BLS agent does not even know the revised fees amount. As per him BLS has not received new amounts and were not even aware that the fee is changing.

BLS and GOI is ridiculous. It's not surprising for us but this is how they treat everyone including citizens. This is the main reason for negative perception of Indian government and bureaucracy. My application is sent back twice due to fees revision. Its been 3 months and they have been plaining this game for OCI meanwhile I got PR card renewed in less than 2 weeks.
