Hello Everyone,
I am planning to visit India end of Oct 2024, my Surrender certificate (applied on 16th July) is still under process. I would like to know if I can expect my OCI before travel or should I consider applying for eVisa? Need more information on eVisa, please share if anyone applied recently.
If OCI is under process, is it still possible to apply for eVisa if someone has a planned travel?
Appreciate your inputs!!!

You did not mention the location you applied at. Processing time differs for every location. You can apply for evisa eventhough OCI is in progress and you get it within 48 hrs. In most cases within 24 hrs.
