Did anyone applied OCI with criminal proceedings (just accusations, no conviction) in court? Did you said yes or no in application form? Was it approved?

Will they worry on it for OCI? Do you see anywhere on this kind of restriction?
OCI is not passport hence i assume they should not worry on it.

Yeah, read somewhere someone applied & said yes to that question, application rejected.

No issue. No need to declare if conviction is pending.

So if I was charged/arrested after a false domestic violence accusation but the court later withdrew the charges for a common-law peace bond without conviction, what should I answer for the question which says

Has any of the applicant faced criminal proceeding ? Yes / No?
