Hello! So, me and my common law are currently patiently waiting for his PNP approval, which should be imminent. Anyway, we are not in Canada currently as his job post will only start once he gets nomination. As we were informed, with the nomination letter we can obtain work permits at point of entry in the nominating province which is British Columbia, so we will be doing that at Vancouver airport. However, I was wondering if I can get a connecting flight at Toronto, to Vancouver, and go through immigration there? As I will be switching from an international flight to a domestic one, wasn't sure if this would be a problem? Has anyone been through a similar situation? Thanks!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You will not be going through immigration in Vancouver when you are coming from Toronto. You can try applying at the airport in Toronto. If that doesn't work, go to Vancouver and clear with the PNP what you need and then you can either apply online from inside Canada or drive to the US border and flagpole.

Yeah I think with PNP you must do all the paperwork at the nominating province so I guess it's best to get a flight that goes directly to Vancouver. Thanks for the advice.
