Hello,
Does any one know how the following works.
I am planning on visiting Canada in August this year to activate my Visa and apply for the PR Card, I then plan to return to the UK for a year or two to save enough money to then make a permanent move to Canada either next summer or the summer of 2017 (Finances depending).
Once I have "Landed" and applied for the PR card do I need to start filing Canadian Tax Returns, and will my earnings in the UK be subject to Canadian Tax. Or will I be classed as Non Resident and therefore exempt?
Would be great to have some insight.
