Obtaining PCC in India

Hello,

Applicants from India, can you share the procedure for obtainining PCC. Do we need letter from CIC or we can get it done upfront.

you dont need any letter, you can do it anytime. You can do it from passport seva kendra.

You don't require a letter from CIC.

1. Just go to a Passport Office
2. Ask for PCC (Mention that it is for CANADA)
3. They will take pic etc and enter data in system
4. If your passport is from India, then i would suggest go to the passport office from where you got the passport, with that you will get the PCC on the same day.
5. Mine was from Canada and applied it in India, hence it took me months.
