obtaining a case worker/ leaving the country while on 'implied' status

Hi,
So my application has been 'received' now for a few months, and my application has been in the system since April of 2015. For work reasons, I need my PR sooner rather than later, as my work has me travelling quite a lot, but I'm told that if I leave the country while on implied status, then I might have trouble getting back in.
I'm wondering if anybody has any advice on leaving the country whilst on implied status.. especially since it's work related (I have a valid work permit for the next two years, that's not the issue)?

Also, I've been told that a great way to accelerate the process might be to obtain a case worker, but I have no idea about how I might contact CIC to discuss this. The website is like an impenetrable fortress as far as contacting them in person is concerned.. Does anyone have any advice on this matter at all?

Thanks everyone!
Cheers

You have a work permit, therefore you are not on implied anything. As long as you don't need a visa to re-enter Canada then you SHOULD be OK to leave and then return.

I don't know who told you to get a caseworker, but they are really wrong. There is no such animal. You've already turned in all your paperwork and documents (presumably) all you can do is sit back and wait for them to either give you PR or to reject you. Nothing else is going to push this along any faster.
