Obtaining a canadian visa from New York

I already have an I-94 (visiting visa of U.S.) but i want to go to Canada aswell. How do i apply for it and how long will it take? I have only 6 days. Help will be appreciated.

What do you mean by you "only have 6 days"? If you are in NYC you can go to the Canadian Consulate office. They have one day processing if you are not from one of the countries with mandatory waiting periods.
