I want to use my Provincial Norminee Letter to apply for the extension of the work permit while I am still waiting for the response of the PR application. However, my Provincial Norminee Letter orginial copy has been sent to the immigration office along with my PR application. Is it possible to obtain another copy of the Provincial Nominee Letter to apply for work visa? If so, where should I contact to request for one? Also, can they extend the expiry date on the letter since my expired last year in July 2011.

Thanks.

Maybe you can get in touch with the Provincial Government agency which issued your Nomination Certificate. Nominations are under the jurisdiction of the Province which nominated you while issuing PR Visas is the jurisdiction of the federal government.

Provincial nominee letter should not be confused with the original certificate. The one used to extend work permit is NOT the certificate / letter stating that you have been nominated.
This is an extra piece of letter introducing where you work and how you are going to apply for work permit, etc - this letter is necessary to trigger LMO exemption. It should not have been sent for your PR application as this sole intention of the letter is for work permit.
