Dear Freinds,
My question is scenario based. A Canadian Resident sponser his parent for a visit visa. In the invitation letter sponser says that he will take care of the expenses during their stay in Canada.
One of them gets ill and went to the hospital. Now the parent leaves the country afterwards. The sponser receives a letter from Hospital for the bill.Which is huge :)

What obligation this sponser has on his shoulder? What are the consequences for Sponser and visitor if the bill is not paid.

thansk for your time in asnwering this post. Please share your experience if u have been in the same situation.

It falls under the obligation of the sponsor. Thats why all the visa applicants are required to have medical insurance before landing.
