I can't really remember how the conversation went. But I am pretty sure, there won't be any action because of my call. It was one of those responses that they are like: we understand the situation and we are trying our best to do it as quickly as possible.

Do they recognize/acknowledge that Winnipeg is much slower than many other places? Do they give any reason why this is the case? How did it get to be this way? Any hint that they recognize this is unfair/unacceptable or that there is a real concrete place to address it? Or just generalizations and bromides about speeding the process up--whatever that means?

Just typical unresponsive bromides. Really, the entire citizenship grant process should be put under court supervision at this point. Of course, that would require a legal community that cares. I'm totally fed up.....

Winnipeg office is just stupid! I know people who got their citizenship in 6 months in Winnipeg while we have people waiting for 48 months. I know people from both sides of the spectrum. We had no judge for as long as 3 months last year! Can you imagine?! There were people's files sitting there waiting and no judge!!!
