Hi Everyone,

I have waited 3 years now after submitting my post test RQ (submitted December 2011).

I received a letter from CIC last month requesting for additional documents (such as records from OHIP, a telephone number which I can be contacted on, records of movement from home country, and a consent form to allow them to look into my entry and exit records from Canadian immigration).

I have now sent these documents in and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. I hope after such a long wait and countless documentation I receive my oath.

Thank you.

They started processing my wife's application in October 2011 but it is still in process. Just last month they asked for the similar documents which were already submitted during the previous RQ. Additionally, they asked for license history from MTO, Car insurance, Children's Birth certi, immunization records.

This is so frustrating and ridiculous process that my wife is thinking of withdrawing the application.

According to them why they were holding your file? Was it frequent travels, address issue,....???

Look like you are in the final stages. What was the reason of the delay in your case???

I'm not sure what is the delay. But I was working in US on TN visa and my wife was on dependent visa for about a year but mostly we're commuting as we were close to the border. They asked for the status letter from US Homeland which we called and we were told that they don't issue any letter since my wife has no current status since past three years.
