Oath Timeline - Nova Scotia - Halifax - 2014

Sorry my language, but this really sucks!!! I was really hoping for it to be my first July 1 as Canadian Citizen.
It's been almost two months since my test. Based on recent cases, the wait test-to-oath has never been longer than 1.5 months for Halifax office. There must be a lot of people taking the Oath on Tuesday.

My time line is:

Applied: 7 October 2013
In process: 21 January 2014
Finger prints: 6 April 2014
Test notification: 26 April 2014
Test: 7 May 2014

and I'm waiting for oath. I searched for people who applied in Halifax on October 2012. I found that they did the oath in September 2013.
Based on that, I think we will have the oath sometime in September 2014.
I also found that they had a ceremony each week in September 2013.

I think that the people who are doing the oath on July first are the people who did the test on March and before.

I'm thinking to go to the ceremony on July first ask the people about the dates they applied and did the test.

I got the invitation today. Its dated 24 - June for the ceremony on July 8-th.

My test was on May 14 2014 . When can i expect mine ? July second week ?

I think they will have a ceremony every week. May be yours will be on July second or third week at worst case.

I received my Oath Notice today, July 4.

The letter is dated July 2, and my ceremony will be held on July 17 at CIC Halifax.

I quit my job on same day July 4 . Due to high pressure and stress . Should that be a problem for my oath or citizenship case?

i have one good news and one bad news on same day July 4 .


I am happy that i got oath letter and unhappy that i quit my job ....Life is all about twists and turns ......should my quiting job makes any difference in my case?

No. Quitting your job at this point will not, in any way, affect your application.

Congrats to you and bobisnoob .. Definitely a day to remember for both of you.

I'm in PEI. My local office is Halifax. I don't see any upcoming interviews or ceremonies.
And if there were, I wonder if I'd be required to head to Halifax or if they put on special itinerant sessions in Charlottetown.
Do the judges travel? Or do we? Idle curiousity.

additional information: August 2, 2012
RQ.: April 30, 2013
Test/Interview: July 21, 2014
Oath: not yet !!!!!!

My question : Is there anyone did the test in july 21 or before and still waiting for oath like me??
I need your help halifax guys. What I have to expect for the next action after this long time without response!!!
Is it Judge hearing or something else ???
