I had my oath today and so many of the folks here..so I'm finally Canadian
They said they do have 3 ceremonies per day now and we were 79 people so this will give many people the opportunity to celebrate their citizenship soon.
The judge was the former director of CIC in Edmonton and he was retired but they called him back to work for
CIC again which means that they want experienced people to maybe push things forward.
I wish all you guys the best..

FAAMS said:I want to apply for the passport at the same day of the oath.Is that a good idea or not ??
Canadiandesi2006 said:As far I know, it takes at least 48 hours to upload the records in the system after Oath ceremony.
So, you can apply ONLY after 2 days.
