Oath timeline after test for Edmonton office March/April/May applicants 2015

I called CIC they told me that you are schedulaed for Jan 26 Oath but I have not yet received letter nor did my ECAS status shows this information.

CIC told me that if I don't get letter by Jan 20 then call again.

Application received:May 25, 2015
Application confirmation: July 29, 2015
Start Processing Application: August 31, 2015
Test: October 29, 2014
Oath: Still waiting

My oath is at the same day as well

Call them if you didn't get it by 20 but i think today or tomorrow max.
 
Finally..... got my oath invitation in the mail. I'm scheduled for Jan 28 @ 8:15 am, ecstatic to say the least.

Congratulations FAAMS!

I had my oath today and so many of the folks here..so I'm finally Canadian
They said they do have 3 ceremonies per day now and we were 79 people so this will give many people the opportunity to celebrate their citizenship soon.
The judge was the former director of CIC in Edmonton and he was retired but they called him back to work for
CIC again which means that they want experienced people to maybe push things forward.

I wish all you guys the best..

Congrats, ask call center agents to have the Oath invitation letter be re-mailed to you immediately.

As far I know, it takes at least 48 hours to upload the records in the system after Oath ceremony.

So, you can apply ONLY after 2 days.

Yes FAAMS we were told wait for 2 business days until you can apply. They will also ask you if you have any intention to travel in the next 2 weeks!

I will wait for 48 hours however I will be sad to do this. As you said dr_majed I have no itgent travelling plans.

Hello Everyone,

I passed my test in 23rd March 2015 and I am still waiting for my oath ceremony letter, Its been a long time (I called CIC and I was told that my application in now non routine as I missed first date of test which I disagree as I had a co-worker who missed his first date of test too but he got his oath letter within a month)
Can anyone tell me whats going on??
