nope said:This isn't real news, but my wife and I (May applicants) took the test on Oct. 27th. My status changed to DM after three days, my wife's changed on Nov. 30th. In the interview the officer said that she wanted to check our histories at the border, but also that it shouldn't slow us down. I think in Edmonton the regular timeline is longer than the time it takes to get information from CBSA. It'll be interesting to see if any of us get quick invitations to one of the many December ceremonies.

nope said:Why worry? Listen, you can't be rejected after the test (I think) -- if the Citizenship Officer has doubts, she will issue you an RQ. You didn't get RQ, you got Decision Made. That's an approval. They'll schedule you your oath as soon as they have a chance to get to your file. We'll probably be taking it together . . . My DM was on October 31st.
nope said:Neither -- you get it when they send it to you.
