Our timeline is quite similar. I sent my app in Jan 2012, got RQ'd in October 2012 and wrote my cit test in April.

Hi guys,

I called CIC last Thursday. I was told by the agent that my oath letter was just sent to me that day and I am scheduled for the oath on Sep 20. My e-case was updated today as well. It says - We sent you a notice on August 28, 2014 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on September 20, 2014 at 12:30 PM. I have not received my pink letter yet. I guess it is because of the long weekend.

My local office is St. Clair office and my timeline is as below:

Application received: Feb 14 2012
Processing started: Nov 29 2012
RQ received: Jan 2013
RQ sent back: Feb 2013
Notice to write the test received: Feb 26 2014
Test & Interviewed: Mar 17 2014
Oath letter sent: Aug 28 2014

On Friday last week I got the pink letter I have been waiting for since March 17th this year. Below is my timeline.

Applied on December 02, 2011
Started processing October 16, 2012 (Received RQ)
Submitted RQ on October 26, 2012
letter to prepare for test January 6, 2014
Citizenship Test March 17, 2014
Received letter on August 29th to take oath on September 20th.

My application was among the bunch that got very badly delayed without explanation. All my papers were in order. During the interview, the case officer mentioned that all the letters and residence proof was well labelled and organized. They didn't have any questions for me. Anyways, whats done is done.

I wish everyone the best of luck.

Congrats Deepak !!! Looks like at last the CIC has waken up from their long slumber and glad to see couple of our forum readers got their Oath invitation. Hope and wish to see lot more in coming weeks.
