I called CIC today. they told me that my case is transferred from st clair to Mississauga. my local office. Does it mean that i will get my oath date any time soon?

Folks is there anyone still waiting for oath since Feb? On my Atip report it show that ICES report was reviewed and to make positive decision additional docs required. Mail for more docs" and this is since March but I haven't received any mail from them?

Pls advise if you know what this mean and what's your recommendation?

I would suggest that, you send a registered mail to CIC stating that per ATIP report (attached Page # .....) CIC is waiting for additional documents from you but you NEVER received any letter from CIC, ask them to send ASAP. It will be in your records and you are safe.

Lately CIC doing such mistakes, despite of multiple reminders and assurances by CIC agents they never sends that. You have to be after them or else you will be blamed later. The best way, send a registered letter.

I passed the test June 3.the officer told me if the judge needs more information,we will send you a letter by mail and if nothing goes on after 3 months, you call cic.

Citizenship Comrades !

My citizenship journey is over. Yesterday I took the oath and became a Citizen at Oshawa. I will hang around in this forum from time to time. Thanks for all the comments, this forum was great

RQ: 02/2010
Test: 05/2010
Citizenship Judge interview: 09/2010, DECLINED due to lack of physical residence, I applied with 975 days !


Second Application submittedapplied with 1145 days)

Application sent : 23/1/2012

Started processing: 26/10/2012, Scarborough

RQ received: 20/11/2012

RQ submitted: 15/12/2012

Notice to prepare for test: 23/12/2013

Test completed/Passed: 24 Feb 2014, St Clair

Oath: 24 June , 2014 , 9.30 am

Just a quick question. How many days do you have after 1095 days of physical presence in the last 4 yrs when you applied? It seems every application is different. Though test were taken on the same day, ppl are getting oath invitation in very different days. There are many factors behind this dissimilarities, one might be the number of + days.

It seems your application is moving faster than many others in this forum. Will you share your application details with reference to travel, physical presence, tie to this country, and what ever you feel relevant.

10 days after 1095 days of physical presence in last 4years.and I am pass the text 20/20,when I finish the text,the judge told me that everything is ok,what I do is waiting for the oath letter,but she told me they will sent letter during the 6 month.I call cic last week,they told me the same answer,but my file still in st Clair.I don't when I can get oath letter,maybe August.

Thanks for sharing the info. I had 1107 days, but no fixed property. I travelled a lot, but never went out of the country in the last 5 yrs. No immediate family, never received any financial assistance form govt, wrote the test on Mar 28.
