Hubby called CIC on Friday and was told his RQ is still being reviewed and that he was sent to write the test because "it was his turn" (whatever that means). Was given the generic 36 months timeline.

Dear fellows, my 7 year journey, which started in March 2007 when we sent in an immigration application, is now over. I'm a Canadian citizen. Thank you for you support; this forum has been a wonderful resource. Please keep it up and running. Good luck to those of you who are still waiting.

I have a theory; some people from the St Clair office may be called to do their oath in Toronto. Oath ceremonies at the city are few and far in between. Maybe some people have been selected for this ceremony this may be one of the reasons for the hold up. Does anyone know if Toronto held ceremonies are larger than a typical scarboro or Mississauga one?

hi guys again,

Cic updated their website there are not many ceremonies in April only 7,8 14 now what is going on at st Clair? no news for me... no oath letter
