I passed my citizenship test on February 15 and interviewer said i will be getting oath letter in 3 months and she is waiting on my background checks. My fingerprint results have already been received as confirmed by agent.
What was she suggesting by background checks?

Me and my wife did out test on Jan 26. I got DM Jan 30th but they said they still waiting on my wife's background check. Her Status still in process.

I had my test and interview on February 16, I am waiting for the notice for oath taking and for my status to change from In Process to Decision Made. It has been 4 weeks since I took the exam. I travel overseas for work. My work travels are postponed as of the moment because of my citizenship application. Is it possible to ask CIC to expedite my application?

I wonder why Edmonton office taking long time for oath invite for cases where there is no pending activities.

I have a friend who took her exam on Jan 15, got the notice for oath taking on feb 20 and had her oath taking on March 6 in Edmonton.

I waited 2 months after my test to get oath invite. Be patient guys!

I did send an email to local office, and they responded " wait for further instructions from our office". :$
