What is the maximum waiting time for oath taking after having passed the citizenship test in Calgary? My wife passed the test more than 2 months ago.

It is different from one case to another... Did you check the Ecas? There must some information there.

Hi tran,

What's the date your wife wrote the test? I wrote mine at the end of April and I'm still waiting for the oath.

Thanks.

Hi luckyme666,

I wrote my test on June 01 2015, but still did not get anything for Oath yet? I do not know how long it takes to get letters in mail. Online status showed "Decision Made" for over month but, there is no progress yet?

Now I am worried bit. Is there somebody else wants to share his/her experience.

When did you apply? I heard they probably go by application date

Hi everyone,
I had my test on May 12,2015 (i applied in Aug 2014). On my test day, I got my CIT0520 and passed the test. I turned in my extra documents in a week.

My eCAS status has changed to 'Decision Made', but no extra information is added.

I'm hoping to receive my oath letter soon.

Hi Shaun,

My eCase still showing IP, I called CIC a couple of times and was told that I have to wait for upto 6 months, the CIC operators even didn't bother to check it for me!!!

I requested my ATIP, it shows the judge already approved! I don't know how long I have to wait!!! It's frustrating!

Let's cross fingers and toes!

Thanks!

I applied in Middle of March, 2014!

Hi Luckyme649,

I applied on the last week of April 2014. I tried couple of times to get information from CIC but, they asked me that they could not look into the file until and unless if the processing time goes over 24 months, which is kind of weird.

Shaun

I'm planning to move (within Calgary) and I'm hoping I receive my oath letter before that.

But in case I don't receive my letter, what is the procedure to change my address with CIC / Calgary office?

Yep, lots of people applied and wrote the tests after me and they already received their Canadian Passport!!!
It doesn't make any sense!!!

You have to change your address online or call CIC call center! If I were you I wouldn't move to Calgary before the oath!

Thanks luckyme649, I'm already a Calgary applicant and I'm just moving a few blocks away :)

I see, you can forward your mail via Canada Post Office as well :)
