Oath on the same day as the citizenship test

To bad 2011\2012 applicant wait for months for their oaths to be scheduled after being approved whereas new applicants are given their oaths on the spot .

The people who had their test and oath on same day, did the people get test invite along with oath consent together in the mail?

i dont think so. my friends who took the exam during their interview they gave them a paper and tells them that they will have the oath in the afternoon

I have read somewhere in this forum that Montreal does same day oath after the test

We had our test and oath on the same day in Montreal.

In our test invitation was a special event notice on having the oath 2 hours later if we pass our tests and interviews.

As a family application, the notice was important because we brought our kids to the test so they could be at the oath ceremony.

I don't think so.. Because this applies here in Montreal and I don't think Montreal would be a local office to someone living that far, because simply there are other local offices (quebec, ottawa, Toronto, ...)
It is totally random, and I don't mean to scare u out but don't get ur hope high, u might not get the test and the oath on the same day.

Im not getting my hopes high... I am simply going on what an immigration officer told me. Since I live 600 km north of the local office, I will get the test/interview and oath on the same day... he said that this is now the norm.
