Oath of Citizenship - COPR requirement

I just received a notice to appear - to take the oath of citizenship. I am required to bring "All your original documents that support your citizenship application - Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292) and Permanent Resident Card. (If you have a landing document and a Permanent Resident Card, you must bring both of them."

I cannot find my COPR (IMM 5292) but I do have a scanned copy and I also have my PR Card. Has anyone had any experience appearing to the oathtaking ceremony with a scanned copy of COPR?

Additionally, my family (spouse and children) who arrived with me are also taking the oath with me on the same day/time and they do have their original COPR, which does mention that I am the accompanying family member (being the primary applicant for permanent residency). As well, my scanned copy shows the names of family members accompanying me.

I am aware that there is a way to get a "Verification of Status" from the Citizenship and Immigration Office; However, the processing time is 6 months and my oathtaking is next week.

Appreciate any help/advice. Thanks so much.

Hi Wayne, thanks for your reply. I have been trying to call CIC since this morning, but I could not get through an agent (volume is too high). However, based on my previous conversations with them regarding my citizenship application, I am not too optimistic that they will give me information or good advice regarding my predicament. Although they are very friendly, they do not seem to have more information other than what I already know and see on the CIC website. As my case seems to be a little unusual, they probably do not know all the options. I do hope they will accept my scanned COPR. Thanks again for your reply.
