Today I got my Oath letter and E-case changed to
"We sent you a notice on November 6, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 23, 2015 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment."

Now I have a question - if somebody can tell me that "minor status will change or not and he will get Oath letter or just he will come with me."
Thanks

Pan1234,

I formulated the same question to CO during my interview yesterday and she stated "Since you have a 16 year old child, please make sure you bring her to Oath Ceremony. She also added that I am the only getting the letter, not my daughter.

All the best,

SFD

Thanks SFD, I also called CIC today n she said that "it is conformed that you and your son scheduled for Ceremony and if he does not get letter it is ok, just tell to immigration officer that you have not get letter for him, but make sure bring all Docs as your's"

Awesome!

Perhaps, minors do get Oath letters. Anyhow, you are good to go...

minors do get oath letters. My daughter who is 6 also received the oath letter, as well as ECas update. But my application is in Edmonton office, maybe different offices have different rules.

I can also confirm that, my cousin, his wife and their two minor kids. They received 4 separate oath letters by mail. If CIC says its ok, then it must be ok. Sometimes the letters arrive on different days depending on Canada post delivery schedule so you might still see a letter in the mail later.

Thanks all of you giving the suggestion. I will share my experience after finishing my Oath, because people can get more information.
